The Honey Bee

        The Honey Bee is a type of bee that does not sting.  They have been around for over one million years.  Honey bees have 6 legs, 2 compound eyes made up 

of hundreds of tiny lenses, 3 simple eyes on the top of the head, 2 pairs of wings, a nectar pouch and a stomach.  The reason the bee's wings buzz is because every time they beat there wings they go 200 times per second it can fly up to 6 miles and go 15 miles per hour.  The funny thing is they fly over a thousand flowers but they only get a spoon full of honey!
